Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.
1. robot vacuums cheap -and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent with a pair of spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors However, it tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. This is why it's crucial to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen in this price range, despite not being able to clean your floors. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cat litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. It also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
